Why bother advertising on a never-ending scroll of regional classifieds like Craigslist?

Two words: instantaneous response.

If you want to “own” a particular neighborhood, Craigslist is your marketplace to target prime prospects — for free. There are now450 Craigslist sites in all 50 U.S. states, and over 50 countries. And the site is ranked 12 in the U.S., according to Alexa.com.

“In one weekend, I posted two open house ads for two properties and got 300 visits back to the client’s site,” John Pruitt, iMarketing Consultant says.

The goal is to drive Internet consumers back to the your PropertyMinder website. More traffic increases search engine resultsrankings on Google, Yahoo! and MSN.

“But you have to peak their curiosity to get online buyers to click on links in your ad,” Pruitt says. Doing so requires persuasive writingand aggressive display — including photographs.
